Jaidorick “Jaido” Woods is a 23 year old up and coming Curaçaoan rapper who is making waves among the teenagers on the island, rivaled in popularity only by Dongo. He is signed to the record label Decoded and is also affiliated with the rap group EasyMoneyGang. He recently graduated from a college in the United States and received his Associate in Arts Degree.
He is currently in a gap year and will continue his studies back in the U.S. next year. This ties in to his plans for the future as he aims to continue to receive education and grow as an artist.
His advice to the youth of Curaçao is to always follow their dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. With hard work and perseverance they can achieve all their goals. But above all they must remain consistent on their path towards the manifestation of their dreams until those dreams become reality.
He was recently involved in a minor scuffle onstage during his performance at Club Blu in Rotterdam but thankfully the situation did not get out of hand and was resolved quickly.
