Bringing a steady and patient approach to his craft is Caribbean music man Raichel Gregorio Martina, known artistically as MRaizz, the author of the internet and radio airwaves juggernaut ‘Milionario’.

Reaching Aruba, Bonaire and the Netherlands and featuring fellow Dutch Caribbean music phenom and childhood friend Dongo, the combination of MRaizz’s mellow vocals drawing the listener in, Dongo’s inventive flow and the irresistible groove of the melody have made this hit single a classic for the ages. The inspiration for the song is truly something for the digital age as it came to him after reading a series of captions on Instagram.

For his artist name, the singer/rapper chose to place the initial of his last name first followed by an abbreviation of his first name with the addition of two z’s to make it more distinct. This Curaçao native is as versatile as he is intuitive, dabbling in Kizomba, Zouk, Colombian Reggaeton, Puerto Rican Reggaeton, Ritmo Kombiná, Seú, Tambú and Tumba. And when it comes to the production of his music he actively contributes to every facet of the process and his creativity becomes as lucid as though he were using a brush to grace a canvas; at times the melody is so clear in his mind he conveys it by humming it and he does it so intelligibly that the end result matches it exactly.

He is proud of all of his productions but the ones that most certainly stand out as his greatest successes are ‘Music Ta Mi Life’, ‘Pordon’ and of course ‘Milionario’. He also holds a special place in his heart for the first quality single he ever produced titled ‘Na Bo Lado’.  Through his music he aims to inspire empathy among his listeners, whether he is expressing a fantasy of his or situations rooted in reality.

He is most certainly appreciative of his success because he remains aware that it did not happen overnight. He believes that an artist should aim for longevity and not to be a singles-factory, releasing them on a weekly basis, because that won’t last long. He considers music the best hobby in the world but his true passion lies in architecture. He has his own business named Forever Young Architecture, and he designed the exterior of Spoonz, a popular nightclub on the island.
